KEY TAKEAWAYS
I want to encourage you to be more generous in giving, giving to charity, giving your time through volunteering, we should make that part of our annual intention setting upon review.
Do something else that you only do once a year at Christmas time, when you give yourself undeniably, unconditionally, unequivocally to those around you. What I would like you to do is unquestionably, wholeheartedly and completely unconditionally, undeniably, unequivocally give to yourself. Give time to yourself, give space to yourself, give love to yourself, give self-care, give everything that is important to you/ Give yourself the time to learn, to gain wisdom, to improve your knowledge. Give yourself that time this year to go inwards, to reap what you sow, to go upon that magical, mystical, wonderful journey of going inside and really give to yourself.
We live in a world where things are so defined and expected upon us and we expect ourselves to live and breathe and operate in those parameters. But, those parameters are built by other people. Today, at Christmastime, I’m asking you, encouraging you and hopefully motivating you to give yourself peace, give yourself peace of mind, give yourself content in your heart, give yourself love.
My journey isn’t perfect all the time. I have ups and downs like everybody else. When I do have a downer, I’m open enough to say that today’s a bad day but this is what I’ve learned. I'm really grateful that I’ve had the awareness, this is what I’m implementing, I’m really grateful to have had this experience, and tomorrow will be another day.
BEST MOMENTS
‘Catholics give 10% of their earnings away to charity, and I think that’s a really wonderful thing.’ ‘Don’t concern yourself with your mind, the inner chatter, the continual dialogue. Instead I want you to really feel in your heart and in your spirit, in your most soulful being, in your true essence, give to yourself that gift.’‘The better we know, the better we can fulfil who we truly are. In doing so, we naturally get more fulfilment as humans.’‘Learning is a lifelong lesson and it needs to be practised. Without that practice we can’t improve’
ABOUT THE HOST
Gavin Scott is a born entrepreneur with a passion for start up and scale up. He has over 20 years real estate experience in investment and development.
Gavin says: Over the years I have discovered that mindset is everything. Now, that might sound obvious, but it is! You see the number of awoken minds are very few in reality. Whilst acknowledging mindset is key it is absolutely different from utilising, influencing, impacting and effecting great change, for yourself, your loved ones, friends, colleagues and the wider public.
Why?
Like most of us I have had many ups and downs. I want to share the lessons learnt and promote a better environment for all, internally and externally!
How?
Through sharing my own experiences and hosting some fabulous individuals including some big household names to discuss key topics around mindset and the success formulas I hope the listener will become inspired to create space for change for betterment in their lives. I aim to inspire change by encouragement, not by force. I intend to inspire by education, not by regulation.
