Listen "Navigating overwhelming feelings with ACT"

Episode Synopsis

Many people have heard of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, but did you know that it has a cousin called ACT - Acceptance and Commitment Therapy? While both are behavior-based therapies, CBT helps you identify and change negative thoughts, while ACT enables you to accept your thoughts and feelings without judgment.

By moving forward through difficult emotions, you put your energy into healing instead of dwelling on the negative. You learn to take committed action in the direction of what you care about, even in the presence of obstacles.
On our latest podcast episode, we chatted with Netherland-based coach and psychologist Miriam Jager on the power of positive psychology and ACT.
