A number of public libraries across PEI are once again hosting tax clinics with the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP). The CVITP is a partnership between community organizations and volunteers and the Canada Revenue Agency. This free program is available to eligible taxpayers who have a modest income and simple tax situations. You can visit the CVITP website for more information on the program. Participating libraries include: Alberton Public Library Bibliothèque Dr.-J.-Edmond-Arsenault Borden-Carleton Public Library Charlottetown Library Learning Centre Cornwall Public Library Georgetown Genevieve Solomon Library Hunter River Memorial Library Kensington Public Library Kinkora Public Library Montague Rotary Library Morell Public Library Mount Stewart Public Library O’Leary Public Library St. Peters Public Library Stratford Public Library Summerside Rotary Library Tignish Public Library Please note that the Charlottetown Library Learning Centre will be offering both drop-off (Thursdays from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.) and in-person clinics (Saturdays from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.), while the other branches listed will only be accepting drop-offs.
