The book of Genesis tells us that humanity was created in the image of God. We still bear his image today and in God’s story we are living out the Imago Dei by being part of his Missio Dei (God’s mission plan) as both individuals and as the church. We must consider how we can be like Jesus as well as recognise how the Church as a collective group of Christians can present what it means to be created in the image of God to our communities. We call that collective Imago Dei, the ‘Body of Christ’.
