This episode of the podcast is with Christy Brooks. Christy is the founder of a nonprofit in Nashville called LIVEmpowered. They are doing some really incredible work and changing the lives of young people and the lives of community leaders (school counselors, teachers, etc)as well. Christy has a really amazing story and her passion for helping others who are struggling with mental health issues is really commendable. LIVEmpowered is in 14 schools in the Greater Nashville area and they do workshops and conferences all over the country bringing light to the issues young people are facing dealing with mental health. Very grateful to connect with Christy. The work they are doing is really needed in this day and age. The passion she has for the work she does is truly inspirational.
