West Ham United has endured a calamitous start to the 2025/26.Premier League season, resulting in significant internal pressure, widespread fan discontent, and public scrutiny of the club's ownership and management. After five matches, the team is in 19th place and languishing in the relegation zone with just three points. I just hope that the West Ham chairman and executives don’t fall off their perch saying they didn’t expect such a start. Because with a transfer market like the one they made this summer, this situation was entirely predictable.
