The Stars end the preseason with a 3-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche and finish 5-1 in the preseason. Host Gavin Spittle really liked the play of Adam Erne this preseason but still believes Justin Hryckowian is the better choice to make the team with Jamie Benn out from injury. Gavin goes through the scoring plays and talks about how great it was to see the Stars create traffic in front of the net. He points out the great play from Colin Blackwell on the go-ahead goal by creating space and not committing a penalty when he created the space.
