Forgiveness cannot be forced or can be decided mentally, it happens when everything has been felt that connects you to the other person and the painful experience. The only way out is the way through, wich doesn´t mean, we have to drown in old pain for ages, it means, we have to allow it to come to the surface, feel it, acknowledge it and than let go of it. As long as we suppress it and blame the other person or life itself, we are not ready, we are resisting and true forgiveness can't be happen. What you truly are is much greater than any painful experience could ever be. If you can perceive and accept the gift in this experience and recognise how everything in your life has a higher meaning, then every pain turns into wisdom. To forgive is primarily for yourself, you decide to let go, to accept what was and to be free from it. As human beings we can only give what we have developed within ourselves and how expanded our consciousness already is, I am sure everyone always gives their best and we can grow in everything if we can accept the experience and see the gift in it. What does not come from love, is a cry for love...
