My mother was an amazing woman, funny, smart, kind and loving. She shaped me to be the mom I am today. In December 2002, just ten weeks after my wedding, she fell ill with an autoimmune disease called Acute Transverse Myelitis. This was a condition whose effects she'd live with for the rest of her life. She died in August of 2018 and in this episode I share stories of her from the beginning of her illness, the time of her passing, to now with her in the afterlife.  I am blessed to have had her love for 40 years in the flesh and am grateful I can connect with her still and I'm happy to share these stories here with you!
