When it comes to thinking about the past and what could’ve been, we have to realize that if something or someone were meant to be in our lives, then we would have it right now. But here’s the thing: what is meant for us wouldn’t be such a struggle to keep. What is meant for us would still be in our lives today. Understanding that the universe has bigger and better blessings in store for us will help us move on from what is stunting us from growing. Think of it as the biggest character development we’re going through. Also, consider it a blessing that we didn’t get exactly what we wanted because, who knows, it more than likely wouldn’t have worked out in the way we wanted to anyway. It’s time to stop asking about the what-ifs and wishing circumstances were different. We block our blessings if we continue to think about the past. It is time to look forward to the future.
