Mix up an "Irish Maid" and let us know your theories after listening to this episode. IRISH MAID RECIPEIngredients: cucumber slices (1/4 inch), 2 ounces Irish Whiskey (we used Jameson), 1/2 ounce of St Germain elderflower liqueur, 3/4 ounce lemon juice, 3/4 ounce simple syrup. TO MAKE: Muddle two cucumber slices in a shaker then add everything else and shake. Add ice to your glass then double strain into said glass. Garnish with a cucumber slice.MOCKTAIL:Substitute the St Germain for elderflower syrup. You may want to omit the simple syrup to prevent over-sweetened the drink. Substitute the Irish Whiskey with nonalcoholic whiskey or club soda. Alternatively, add elderflower syrup to chilled lemonade and garnish with cucumber.
