In todays episode Katie catches up with Sinead Brinn. Sinead is from County Limerick and is a Daffodil Day ambassador for 2025.Towards the end of 2023, she learnt that her mother’s skin cancer had returned and was incurable. Sinead sought support from the Irish Cancer Society’s Daffodil Centre and eventually the Irish Cancer Society’s Night Nursing service. Sinead says the Night Nurses are like angels, and she is so grateful they were able to care for her mum at home during her final daysIn this chat she talks on the importance of raising awareness and fundraising like Daffodil Day, and the invaluable support provided for her family by the Irish Cancer Society.
