Listen "Beyond #StopTheBans: Reproductive Justice"
Episode Synopsis
Since Brett Kavanaugh's elevation to the Supreme Court and the subsequent passage of abortion bans in some state legislatures, there's been a lot of talk about the future of Roe v. Wade. But for many people, particularly people living in poverty and people of color, a post-Roe world already exists, where access to abortion is extremely limited or even impossible. In this episode, we hear from La'Tasha Mayes of New Voices for Reproductive Justice. La'Tasha explains how reproductive justice is a different framework for advocating and organizing for access to reproductive healthcare and what New Voices is doing in Pennsylvania and around the country to advance that strategy.
