To describe a noun the adjective needs to match up with noun depending whether it is masculine (o) or feminine (a) or whether it is masculine plural (i) or feminine plural (e). When we say a singular noun is delicious we use e' but when the noun is plural we use sono e.g il gelato e' delizioso, I gelati sono deliziosi.
