Hia! How RU doing? June 10th 2009: LIVE from the Russell Square park it's time for an overview of the London Walkabout we did today. Tube strike so the best option was to go walking. Man! I need a new pair of shoes....! Because of this tube strike there's an enormous amount of traffic in the streets of London. Taking the bus was therefore not any good as walking was much faster. Now that I'm relaxing @ Russell Square I really appreciate the green areas in a big city like London.... There are a lot of green parks, some of them really big like Hide Park and the Kensington Gardens, some of them smaller like Russell Square and Gray's Inn Garden. They all have one thing in common: get away from the daily stress for a few minutes, having your lunch, feeding your baby, lying down and take a nap, anything you'd like basically. After that you just carry on with what you were doing before feeling a bit refreshed now. Ah.... and one tip if you're allergic to heavy traffic sounds: please do wear around-the-ear fit headphones with some great tunes!!! Once you wear these you'll be amazed how many people are wearing them too, it's cool as! ~TC
