Space and medical scientist-engineer-inventor that values interdisciplinary and diverse team environments, educational outreach, and encouraging communication of STEAM. Experiences include supporting, developing, and leading projects in the areas of physiology, immunology, and medicine (e.g. spaceflight, clinical pathology, aging, exercise & nutrition, etc.), engineering (e.g. rocket & space systems, microgravity experimentation, nanotechnology, etc.), to translate micro- to macro-scale research concepts and questions into real-life applications. Actively engaged in local, state, national, and international programs encouraging our human space exploration endeavors.
