Pastor Scott brings up the point that sometimes God uses people in our lives to speak to us. It's not always an audible voice coming down from the sky or heard through the radio but a word from a trusted friend or family member. But a good rule of thumb to remember is that God will not use people who aren't close to you that have permission to speak into you and He will not use someone who isn't daily following and obedient to Him to speak into you.
