This week COVID-19 legal restrictions have been replaced by guidance for the public but within health and care settings, social distancing and other COVID safety measures must continue. In this episode our AD and IPC lead Trudy Reid chats to WHO Infection prevention and control experts Ana Paula Coutinho Rehse and Dr Nizam Damani about all things IPC from vaccines to variants. They also reflect on our stubbornly high levels of community transmission, co-existing with covid and the extraordinary efforts made by frontline staff to protect patients, clients and each other.
