This programme comes in the week of the release of The Breadwinner, the acclaimed new film about 11 year old Parvana who lives under the harsh Taliban rule of early Twenty-First Century Afghanistan, and which features a new score by Jeff and Mychael Danna.The programme features music from the 1936 version of As You Like It by William Walton and Patrick Doyle's' score for the more recent adaptation of the same play; 'Twelfth Night', 'Pandora's Box', 'Lola Montez', 'Lord of the Rings', 'Mulan', 'The Messenger', 'Saint Joan' and 'Pope Joan'.
