They look at it from two angles, firstly around what’s happening in the outside world (crypto, etc), and in the second episode they’ll talk about wealth from a more personal perspective.

There are a lot more opportunities that have presented themselves over the last couple of years. Crypto, for example, is a decentralised finance platform, and as with anything like this there’ opportunities for investment. There’s obviously risks involved as with any type of investments like NFTs (non-fungible tokens), property, stocks and shares. There’s a lot of shift in society as well, local to us the sense of community is being built up again, so the concept of wealth and how to generate and utilise it are changing.
Everyone’s always trying to obtain more. Yes, we’ve got to put roofs over our heads and food on the table, running a car. But for two years we hit pause and that gave people the time to stop and take stock and ask why the hell am I on this treadmill every day? 
I came into a lot of money in my early 20s and by my mid-20s I was £50,000 in debt because I was spending like a 1%er. Perhaps I needed to go through that right or wrong? But at the time I was a tax exile and I couldn’t invest that wealth where I wanted to and where it would serve me very well. At the same time, my Mum invested in another home and that’s quadrupled in value in the last 20 years.
Most people say “I wish I invested in ‘x’ back then”, the one thing we can’t do is time travel – that I’m aware of – what I tend to do is use hindsight to create my foresight. Then I’m able to make better decisions in the present. None of us have got a crystal ball. NFTs and crypto could be normal currencies in 20 years’ time. It’s a constant evolution.
