Listen "#125. The Sound of Grief"
Episode Synopsis
Yesterday I had a lesson with a girl who lost her mother recently.I felt like walking in the sand , trying not to leave foot prints. You can never say, “ I know grief very well”.You can say, “ I know my grief”.Each person’s grief is experienced in a unique, distinct way. This was a lesson without words. We were playing together. No teaching or talking. The girl was playing and crying. Every now and then she reached with one hand to dry hertears with her shirt, while the other hand continued to play. No words; just sound and silence. This was the sound of grief.
