This months Double Up DJ guest is Tha Mbj!
Tha MBJ started out at age 15 by making mix tapes on a Casio keyboard. In 1995 his playlist consisted of mixes requested by his family and friends. After meeting a local DJ from his hometown, Tha MBJ was introduced to House and Drum & Bass music genres. In 1996 He then created his own radio station named 102 Killa Jams and used the radio name Killa T. Listening and creating this type of music became his passion. He also changed his stage name from Killa T to Tha MBJ because he felt Killa T had a negative connotation. His fans consist of other DJs and producers and those who share the love of House and other Dance music genres. His association with other known DJs helped motivate him to do live sets every week.
