As disciples of Jesus Christ, we must learn to strike the balance between action and contemplation. We must be active contemplatives or contemplatives in action. We cannot focus on one at the expense of the other. We must be active in ministry, but at the same time, we must not neglect our relationship with God. Also, we cannot spend all our time in contemplation without doing anything to serve the Lord in ministry.
