Authenticity:  the act of being genuine.  It can be tough - people may judge you.  You may not get those likes.  You may not gain the popular vote if you're authentic.  No one may agree with you.  This is one issue with being authentic.  Another factor may be fear.  Fear of being "called out" - or rubbing others the wrong way.  All of these things affect your ability to be authentic.  
Now factor in times in your life when you are in the midst of transformation.  Stepping into that new way of being.  Leaving that relationship.  Dropping into a new way of being in your life.  It can be scary - you'll lose friends, maybe money, respect ... but .. if you move from your heart, and only your heart - you can't help but be authentic in all your relations.  Not always easy but the best if you believe that this life is about magnetizing what is true, right and real for you.  And ... by the way .. the times "before" you were being authentic, yeah ... you were authentic then too.  You've just evolved, so cut yourself some slack.
