We sit with Tweety and Patrice Angenwyi from Hustleblendz coffee shop and we discuss their journey from e-commerce to owning a brick-and-mortar in Fort Worth, TX. They discussed their decision to quit their jobs and focus on entrepreneurship when they realized the limitations of traditional employment. A significant part of their message is educating customers about the history of coffee, particularly its African origins, as well as how lucrative the coffee market is and how only 2% of blacks invest in it. They discussed some of their latest endeavors, the importance of having faith in a higher power, and the importance of relationships with other black-owned businesses in their community.
