Military veterans add great value to Southern Company’s rich and diverse workforce. Alabama Power’s Council on Culture and Inclusion recognized those service members and acknowledged the unique talents and experiences they bring to our company. In honor of Veteran’s Day, the CCI hosted retired Brig. Gen. and former Alabama Power employee Wendell McLain to share with a group of employee service members his thoughts on the company’s commitment to veterans. After the event, he sat down with SCS military recruiter and veteran Jeremy Foshee to share more of his personal story.
