We were flying somewhere over Arizona or New Mexico when we spotted this massive wild fire in the mountains...and I just felt something sad yet hopeful in the experience...it was a strange feeling...the smoke and fire seemed to be in a remote place, and the smoke plume was immense, and it just made me feel so small and helpless, but somehow witnessing all from above just sparked a fire in my heart.
