Episode Synopsis

This episode I speak with Chantelle Bourne, member of the Department for Student Voices in Education and Schools - otherwise known as the DOVES council - who work closely with the NSW minister for education. This council comprises of students from all different grades across the different regions in the state who represent their peers, by voicing their concerns straight to the Minister. In this episode, Chantelle and I talked all about the DOVES council, growing up in a rural area, how she’s grown through her involvement in the committee and how other students can get involved or contact the council.
