Official audio for Alec Baker - 'After Party' ALEC BAKER ABOUT 'AFTER PARTY' The initial idea for ‘After Party’ was made during the autumn of 2020. I’d been going through almost two months of ongoing illness, that was somehow to be mistakenly diagnosed as cancer, so I started to write down lyrics as a way to cope with that. Last summer I revisited the raw demo track, realizing that I wanted to take it to completion, so I turned to Joakim at Studio Sickan to record the vocals. The unusual conditions probably lead up to the abstract, sleepless and dreaming feel of the song.
