Listen "S3E6 Nigel Muers-Raby"
Episode Synopsis
This week, to mark the upcoming Somerset Day, on the 11th May, my guest is the founder of Somerset Day itself: Nigel Muers Raby. Growing up in a farming family, Nigel has always been an advocate of the rural way of life, and has seen the tremendous potential in uniting Somerset and its people around a day to celebrate produce, culture, and business around the county. Nigel’s career in the arts and business world also made him an ideal candidate to breathe new life into one of the county’s most historic properties – Cothelstone Manor. This year’s Somerset Day has seen a wide campaign to get people celebrating their county by flying the flag for Somerset.
