"Vibe Quest Chapter One" is a sneak preview into label-head Sabo's upcoming full length LP, with 2 stellar remixes from Acid Pauli and Nadastrom.
"Vibe Quest" is a slow chill-out entry to ease you into this new deeper sound, and features Sabo's Mom, Carolyn Sabatini, live on the vibraphone. "Singing Game" is a mid tempo deep tribal cut complete with African percussion, thick bass, and builds into a beautiful breakdown sampling a group of small young girls from the Ivory Coast playing a game of call and response. This tune was 1st debuted on the Robot Heart bus in 2013 at Burning Man. Acid Pauli takes "Singing Game" and transforms it into club ready deep techno cut with analog synths weaving in and out, constantly building melodies until the climatic breakdown. Nadastrom take "Vibe Quest" into another dimension with an epic mid tempo journey into deep slow house. The remix builds and builds until the break down where they let the jazzy skills of Carolyn Sabatiini's vibraphone solo breath new life into the dance floor, before coming back in with the tribal groove.
