Episode Synopsis
Do you feel like you're a chronic people pleaser? Do you ever feel guilty for putting yourself first because you are so used to putting others before your own wants and desires? Well, you aren't alone. Today we unpack a personal experience from the last week of my life where I was a people pleaser and neglecting what my initial boundary was in the situation. People pleasing, while we feel as though we are doing right by others, ultimately instills a belief that we don't deserve to put ourselves first. We'll open up a conversation as to some of the harmful effects of people pleasing and also ways in which we can stop chronic people pleasing. Please remember that you can still be a kind and generous person while also saying no to what doesn't serve you.
