As we all know dentistry is special because it’s medical but it’s also commercial. It has the technical component, and it has the human emotional component. And if you just look or focus on one of these (in private dentistry) you will be for sure missing a part. Dentistry is an act of caring and a service.  
The financial conversation is an important conversation that happen in the dental practice. Yet, so many dentists are uncomfortable discussing fees and payment options with patients, which can impact the way their days and the way they live the profession.  
In this episode we reflect on some of the reasons for this disconfort and give practical tips to help overcome it with real work situations from everyday dentistry.
