Matty Caine is the founder and CEO of First Person Projects, which is a social enterprise. Matty has 17 years experience of working in the field of mental health, and he decided to complement that knowledge and developed further by studying in MBA. He graduated from that with a distinction, and then that really inspired him in 2019 to form a social enterprise which is known as First Person Project. For more than a decade of Matty's career, he spent as a registered mental health nurse in a variety of senior leadership and strategic management positions in a range of public and private sectors across the whole of England, including specialist settings.
Matty has a long list of qualifications to his name, including an MBA and is currently finalising his Doctorate in at Liverpool Business School.
Unfortunately, however, Matty has also encountered a lived experience of mental health problems and I'm pleased to say is a survivor of a suicide attempt.
