Alexa Brown is a serving police officer with Gwent Police since 2005 and believes her career is her destiny to protect others but openly talks about how dealing with child abuse and suicide cases made her consider taking her own life and indeed since 2017 Alexa has been coping with CPTSD (complex post traumatic stress disorder).She stresses that no-one is bullet proof when it comes to handling the psychological impact of the work she and the police in general carry out and is now determined to help people with intense jobs like hers change the way they care for their minds.Alexa has a frank, honest, often humorous approach to life is a single Mum and loves all things 80's including - Annika Rice and She Rah !!
