We’re joined by local celebrities Lourdes Nicholls & Melissa Elsmo from the Wednesday Journal of Oak Park & River Forest. They organized the “Be Like Betty” event which was originally meant to celebrate former Oak Park resident Betty White’s 100th Birthday but ended up being a memorial when she passed away at 99.
They tell us how the event came about & what it was like having to go from a Birthday Party to a memorial at the last minute as well as their experience being involved with Goldencon!
