Simone brings a background of extensive experience over her 22 plus years working as a corporate and commercial lawyer, as well as managing her own business for over 14 years. Simone is passionate about business, what is needed to establish and grow strong, sustainable and valuable businesses, and get effective deals done to achieve her clients’ goals and aspirations. Simone works with businesses to assist in their general day to day commercial and corporate matters, with a particular focus on franchising, business sales & purchases and intellectual property protection. Simone has assisted in the design and establishment of various franchise systems and their international expansion. In her franchising speciality Simone works with franchisors, master franchisees and individual and multi site franchisees to establish strong foundations for success and to achieve their best deals. Simone previously managed and operated the legal departments for national and international networks, including Minor DKL Group (previously The Coffee Club Group) and Bartercard, Simone has presented at legal and business events throughout Australia and Internationally, judged State and National Business and Franchising Awards, been interviewed on radio and podcasts, as well as spoken, presented and been involved in submissions before and to Federal and State government bodies and representatives. The Deputy Chair of the QLD Law Society’s Franchising Committee and Committee Member of the Franchise Council of Australia (Qld Chapter), Simone recently established Business Maximisers Club, a facebook network for entrepreneurs interested in growing the value of their business to sell or expand.
