Rick Witter formed Shed Seven in 1990 and signed his first record deal with the band in 1993. They went on to have thirteen consecutive Top 40 hits in the UK Singles Chart becoming one of the most successful bands of the BritPop era. The band officially broke up in 2003, but reformed for a greatest hits tour in July 2007 and continued to play shows around Britain periodically until releasing a new studio album in 2017 - Instant Pleasures. Their latest album, A Matter of Time, was released on 5 January 2024 and became the first number one album in their career.
