Snowy tree crickets are among the most widely recognized sounds of crickets. The sound of these crickets resembles the sound of jingle bells and repeats at regular intervals. These crickets are also known as 'temperature crickets'. This is because the frequency of their chirps can be used to estimate the temperature. Count the number of chirps in 15 seconds and add 40.
