Episode Synopsis
Europa is the smallest of Jupiter's Galilean moons but it is the 6th largest moon in the solar system and only slightly smaller than Earth's moon. In space many planets and moons feature auroras, the most well known being the Northern Lights. These auroras are caused by electromagnetic changes from solar winds that bring charged particles into the atmosphere. The sound of Europa's auroras were recorded by NASA's Juno probe as electromagnetic data that was then interpreted as audio.
