Jemele Hill is celebrating the paperback release of her memoir Uphill. Released on October 25, 2022, Hill pulled back the curtain and allowed fans to get a glimpse of what her journey has been like through her own lens. She dived deep into her childhood and shared what her experience was like growing up in an environment where both her parents were drug addicts. We also get to walk with her as she ascends to nab the most coveted position in sports journalism–a job at ESPN. I got the chance to talk to Hill about her memoir and all the details that most people wouldn't know if they didn't read the book.
