Mama always said never call someone "stupid".  Sorry mama, sometimes we have to call 'em like we see 'em.  Let's just face the fact that in an ultra politely correct world, the use of the word stupid can't be denied when there is nothing else that applies. If able and capable, yet never doing the job hired for, that's stupid! Posting HD, overly-edited pictures just hoping someone will see you for you, that's stupid?  Keep giving money to family or friends texpecting payback that you know will never come, that's stupid! We are all entitled to have glimpses of ditzy behavior. However, when the behavior becomes costly due to repetition, ignoring, or denial, that's a problem.
