Wow! What incredible moments we had yesterday interviewing this power house for Women's History Month! 👑 We left feeling extremely inspired, empowered and we were filled with strength to continue to push forward with all of our goals! 💯@proferomero the woman of many hats! 🥰 she shared with us her 25 year journalism career & passion for fashion began, how it let her to become an author, tv correspondent and her current role as Assistant chair & Professor in the Marketing & Communication department of Jay & Patty Baker school of Business at FIT! 😱 Elena’s career began in radio, then quickly shifted into tv and she now represents our Latino culture with her TV correspondent Producer of the “”Latinas” show on CUNYTV. At CUNYTV Elena tells stories of Nuestra Mujeres on topics such as health & wellness, parenting, entertainment, fashion food & so much more! Elena has a Netflix CNN documentary called “Fresh Dressed” on hip hop & fashion and she currently is the co creator of “Fresh, Fly, Fabulous - 50 years of hip hop style” at the museum at FIT!
