There are certain birthday's that even if you literally feel no difference on, you know are milestones (18, 21, 25). For a lot of us, the 30 mark feels different. Somehow the idea of turning another year where we are more settled, more experienced, more in touch with who we are becomes quickly overshadowed by the notion that we've "turned old". 
For Goldy Adler that couldn't be farther from the truth. Goldy's thirties represent an era of confidence in self and in stating her boundaries, overcoming struggles in dating and finding meaningful ways to give to others.
