In 2013 while deployed in the Air Force Capt. Chris Cochrane suffered an infection of the heart valve which led to several strokes. His recovery consisted of numerous surgeries and intense physical and speech therapy. Chris conquered the obstacle with unwavering determination while learning how to walk and talk and eventually landed a spot as an athlete of the US Wounded Warrior Games team.In 2017 Chris had another fall that fractured his skull, but once again he persevered and fought his way out of the hospital (3 altogether) including 4 months of intense recovery.
