Episode Synopsis

Anne Roderique-Jones is originally from the Springfield area. Now living in New York city, Anne has worked as an editor, writer and journalist. Among other things, she is currently the writer and host of the podcast, Ozarks True Crime. Season 1 of the podcast focused on the Missing Three. She and her production team came back to the Ozarks to dig into what happened back in June of 1992. They interviewed police, potential suspects and the victim’s families to try to shed new light on a mystery that has plagued the Ozarks for over 30 years. In season 2, she covered the Feeney Murders. She tells the story of a gruesome crime that left Cheryl Sweeney and her 2 children murdered and her husband on trial for those murders. Season 3 is in production at this time. Listen in as Anne tells how this type of journalism and investigating into crime can take it’s toll on the ones doing the research and reporting. She is certified in trauma reporting for this reason. Her hope is that, by shedding new light on these stories, some new information will come forward. https://www.anneroderiquejones.com/https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/ozarks-true-crime/id1567108417https://open.spotify.com/show/0hFJ7copfJDrwNUoaQZyGw
