New beginnings. Don’t we all love a fresh start? A new chapter in life? Maybe you are searching for a new approach. He will call us out of the old and into the new season. Maybe we are ready, maybe we are not. Maybe we want to hold on to that old just a little bit longer. Or maybe we want to never think of the old ever again. But even then, we don’t know how to walk in the new, no matter how badly we want to. Isaiah 43:18 says, Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Okay, but how? We need the power of the Holy Spirit to help us grasp, to understand this new thing He is leading us into. We need to accept and grab whatever the Lord is asking us to take. We need to receive fully. In peace. We need to trust Him and not ourselves and rest in the direction of our Heavenly Father that knows all and sees all things. He goes before us, way before us, and clears the way. Exodus 33:14, And He said, My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest. We can do the new thing because we have Him in us. Thank God for His presence. He wants to bless His children. So go forth, even when it’s hard to understand. Jeremiah 17:7, Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord.
