What do you do when your child is full of anxiety for so many months? This was us less than a year ago. So, what do you do? You trust and you keep trusting. You go through. You are there for their every cry, every fear. You lay awake by their side for endless nights. You cry. Oh, you cry. And you ask God, why? Why them? Why not me? Why, for so long? Why, why, why? Psalms 42:9 says, I will say to you, God, my rock, why have you forgotten me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? You love the good days and you hate the bad. You love the leaps and hate the setbacks. You keep going. You keep showing. You keep loving, you keep forgiving, you just keep on keeping, knowing this too shall pass, because when it does, you look back and remember the time you had, the trial and pain. Romans 5:3 says, And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance.You remember the strength you gained. You go on calling Jesus mighty name.Philippians 4:7 says, And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Hang in there.
