Welcome to Episode 1 of Simple Steps Podcast! Today’s topic couldn’t get much simpler! Water!
It makes up 60% of our bodies and 73% of our hearts and brains! Water is essential for life. A person can fast from food for around 3 weeks, but can only go about 3 days without water. 

The benefits to drinking water are endless. Some benefits we cover in today’s episode are; mental performance, clarity and memory, improved mood, bodily functions such as digestion and blood pressure, and even weight loss. 

On this episode, Michelle and Lisa, share how they have come to make drinking water a daily habit. And, you will get an opportunity to consider creating your own water habit. We reference the popular book, Atomic Habits, (https://a.co/d/dTUNLAv) as a powerful tool to help develop habits.

Jesus tells us He is the living water in John 4:7-15. Water is essential for sustaining life but Jesus, the living water, is essential for sustaining our souls.
