Episode Synopsis
Chris Fryer and his wife Sarah founded the plant-powered pie company in 2018 on the banks of the River Tyne from their converted horsebox. The couple were getting tired of their careers; Chris was a full-time teacher, while Sarah was a medical secretary. After a year of experimenting with different flavours and recipes in their kitchen, the Fryers launched Magpye - a vegan pie company specialising in comfort food.
